Two candidates battle out

In one of his campaign, Trump’s showed his downright opposition to Clinton’s foreign policy on Syria He told a group of supports that Clinton wants “550% increase” of refugees in Syria coming into the US.

The real estate mogul said, “Her plan would mean generations of terrorism, extremism, and radicalism spreading into our schools and communities”.

On the other hand, Clinton’s rebuttal for Trump’s attack on her is his temperament and judgmental comments about women and minority groups. She told her supporters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that Trump was “unfit” to be the next president because of his behavior.

John Podesta, the Democrats campaign head joined the heated rebuttal of the two presidentiables. Podesta said that Trump should ask the New Jersey’s Governor, Chris Christie to resign his post. Christie also acts as the head of the Republican candidate’s transition team.

Christie’s two aides were found guilty in scheming traffic jams in New Jersey. An act considered spreading political turmoil against a local Democratic mayor. Christie denied any participation in the deed.

Trump leads the way in Ohio, according to Real Clear Politics, the state polling agency. Meanwhile, Clinton leads the election in a small fringe in Pennsylvania.

Recent national polls indicate that the Republican candidate gained momentum in several battlegrounds in the last few weeks.

Clinton struggles

Clinton struggles within the last few weeks of the electoral race because of her rough relationship with the FBI. The agency presses on their investigation regarding Clinton’s private email used when she was still the Secretary of State during the Obama administration.

In July, the FBI looked into her private email use but did not charge her for any illegal misconduct. Clinton said she is sure that the new probe will not affect FBI’s original assessment on her.

Furthermore, Clinton’s camp questioned FBI’s ill timing of the announcement of their investigation. Two senior Democrats requested for an investigation of the former New York Mayor and Trump surrogate, Rudy Giuliani’s role in the FBI probe.

On Friday morning, Guiliani’s interview with Fox News indicated he knew about the probe even before FBI announced the news. He said, “I had no role in it. Did I hear about it? You’re darn right I heard about it.”

Later that day, Democratic Members, Elijah Cummings and John Conyers, requested the Justice Department to investigate Giuliani’s source of information. In the letter they wrote, “Leaking this information to former FBI officials as a conduit to the Trump campaign is equally intolerable”.

Guiliani told CNN that “No, I’ve spoken to no current FBI agents’, and denied all allegations that he had any knowledge of the investigation.

Clinton Draws on Celebrity Support As Trump Goes It Alone

In what has become an increasingly competitive race, Hillary Clinton sent celebrities from politics and the music industry across battleground states Friday to try to revitalize Democrats. Meanwhile, Donald Trump preserved his go-it-alone approach.

The Democratic presidential nominee concluded a day of campaign stops at a crowded, star-studded concert in Cleveland. Clinton showered praise on rapper Jay Z and his wife, singer Beyonce, asking thousands of cheering fans for their votes as she stood beside the celebrity couple on a brilliantly lit stage at the Wolstein Center.

“Please take this energy out with you,” she said. “Help us win Ohio.”

On the other hand, Trump boasted that he didn’t need stars to lure thousands to his events.

He told a packed rally Friday night in Hershey, Pennsylvania that he didn’t have to bring J-Lo or Jay Z. “I am here all by myself. Just me. No guitar, no piano, no nothing.”

Trump’s campaign has been a contentious one and has split the Republican Party. He has appeared with a ragtag group of backers including former Indiana University basketball coach Bobby Knight. A scheduled event with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie for Saturday was canceled after a couple of his top aides were found guilty Friday on all counts for their roles in the “Bridgegate” scandal.

On Saturday, Trump and Clinton will be campaigning in Florida. Both are on last-ditch efforts to win support in a state where early voting have already surpassed 2012 levels. Strong Latino numbers, particularly around Miami, boosted Clinton’s team. However, the Democrats have seen their odds drop in Ohio, a crucial battleground state that’s been tilting toward Trump. Clinton’s numbers are also weakening in New Hampshire.

Clinton’s campaign has held a succession of free concerts intended to create enthusiasm for her bid, particularly among minority and millennial voters. While singer/actress Jennifer Lopez took the stage in Miami, R&B singer Ne-Yo and rocker Bon Jovi rallied voters in North Carolina. Steve Wonder was performing in Philadelphia.

Clinton will host a concert on Saturday night with pop star Katy Perry in Philadelphia. After the event, she would return to the city on Monday for a collaborative rally with her husband Bill Clinton, President Barack Obama, and first lady Michelle Obama. Pennsylvania is a state where Clinton has sustained a solid lead; In six presidential elections, it has not voted for a Republican.

Clinton’s celebrity supporters complement an already deep line-up of political backups eager to campaign for Clinton. On Friday, President Obama in campaigned in North Carolina, Vice President Joe Biden in Wisconsin and Sen. Bernie Sanders in Iowa.

On the other side of the campaign trail, Trump spent Friday on a visit of rural areas. He hopes to encourage turnout among the voters attracted to his pledge to bring back a lost America. He started his day in Atkinson, New Hampshire, wherein according to the Census Bureau, has a population 6,800 and nearly 98 percent white. From there, he was bound for Wilmington, Ohio, another predominantly white community where only 13 percent of its 12,500 inhabitants have a college degree.

In a rally more than 2,000 miles from the Mexican border, Trump elicited loud cheers in Atkinson. This was when he promised to build an immense wall between the U.S. and Mexico. The crowd jeered when he argued that Clinton supports open borders.

“Her plans would mean generations of terrorism, extremism and radicalism spreading into your schools and through your communities,” Trump proclaimed.

Nearing the Finish Line

Despite a close race in national polling, Trump’s road to victory remains slim. His campaign seems to be more and more about making up for losses among suburban voters, specifically college-educated women, by enticing new voters in remote places.

However, Democrats are taking little for granted with polls tightening across battleground states. On Friday, Hillary Clinton made an afternoon stop in Detroit, Bill Clinton worked to raise turnout in Colorado, and Vice President Joe Biden was heading to Wisconsin — all states Clinton was assumed to have a sure win weeks ago.

Fear of Leaks Pushed FBI Decision on Emails Connected to Clinton

Law enforcement sources said on Thursday FBI Director James Comey was compelled in part by a fear of leaks from within his agency when he decided to inform Congress the FBI was investigating newly found emails related to Hillary Clinton,.

The analysis of the email traffic is now being done under the tightest secrecy by a team at the FBI headquarters in Washington, the sources said, requesting anonymity due to the inquiry’s sensitivity.

Several sources said it was not clear whether the FBI would make any further public releases about its latest evaluation prior to Tuesday’s presidential and congressional elections. A couple of sources said such releases were unlikely.

Another source said that it would depend on how the investigation goes and what the FBI finds. The source added that, as of Thursday, nobody really knows whether the FBI will have anything more to say before the election.

Last Friday, Comey sent a letter to senior lawmakers regarding the newly discovered emails. His disclosure just days before the elections elicited questions about his intentions and drew criticism from some over his timing.

Comey revealed that the FBI was looking at emails as part of an investigation into Clinton’s use of an unauthorized server while secretary of state. The FBI director did not describe the emails’ content or how long the probe might take. The FBI normally does not comment on ongoing investigations.

The new emails came to light as FBI investigators were inspecting electronic devices used by former congressman Anthony Weiner in connection with an apparent “sexting” scandal. Weiner’s estranged wife, Huma Abedin, is a Clinton confidante.

According to law enforcement sources, the FBI has made initial inquiries into Clinton Foundation activities and supposed contacts between Trump and accomplices with factions in Russia. However, these inquests were swung into low gear weeks ago because the FBI wanted to avoid any effect on the election.

Clinton had used unauthorized server at her residence in Chappaqua, New York, instead of the secure State Department system. The FBI beforehand had spent close to a year probing Clinton’s use of the private server after classified government secrets were discovered in some of her emails.

Comey had stated in July that while there was “evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case.”

Orlando, Florida – The Republican presidential candidate assured his supporters that he will win the White House position on the November 8 election. Trump addressed thousands of cheering supporters in his two-day rally in the crucial battleground state of Florida.

He said, “It’s going to happen”.

In the latest survey of Quinnipiac University, the results were considerably surprising. The Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton leads Trump with just 1% point. The total tally shows Clinton at 46% while Trump is at 45%, a connotation well within the 3.9% marginal error.

The recent poll indicates Trump won a huge amount of likely voters. Given that the last Quinnipiac poll conducted on October 17, showed Clinton is 4% points above Trump.

Meanwhile, the combined tally for the alternative candidates, Gary Johnson and Jill Stein is at 4% points of likely voters.

On Wednesday, Trump believed he will win against all odds in the presidential election. He said, “Our magnificent, historic movement has surprised the world and defied expectations at every single turn. And now next Tuesday, we will have one last glorious surprise for the pundits, the politicians and the special interests when we win and return the power back to the people”.

Trump’s political strategy

The real estate mogul stayed on his standpoint that he will win the battleground state of Florida; his turning point factor for the Presidential position.

Trump played on the recent controversy surrounding Clinton’s email woes when she was still the Secretary of the State. In his speech in the Pensacola rally, he pointed out the legal troubles of his opponent.

He also condemns Obama for campaigning for Clinton. He said, “He’s campaigning right now for Crooked Hillary. Why is he campaigning? She’s under federal investigation — and you’ve got a president campaigning for her”.

Obama addressed the Florida crowd on Friday and will revisit on Sunday. For the Republican candidate that indicates, “All he does is campaign”. He then added, “He ought to be working on your jobs that are leaving and going to Mexico, and your military”.

Trump itinerary includes a rally in Jacksonville before heading to Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

In his campaign at the Orlando Amphitheater, he urged the residents to vote, citing the recent poll of Quinnipiac showing Clinton’s lead of 4% with a marginal error of 4 points either way.

Trump promised the crowd that he will replace Obamacare, which for him is “a total catastrophe”. The attendees answered him with roars of “Trump” and “USA” while denouncing Clinton as “Lock Her Up” and “Liar”. A plane circled the campaign grounds while pulling a banner which reads “FL Chinese Americans for Trump”.

Meanwhile, outside the amphitheater, vendors made a lot of money in Trump’s merchandise selling T-shirts, caps, flags, buttons, and the likes.

Trump’s supporters

A senior mechanical engineer graduate of The University of Central Florida, Ryan Smith gathered attention in wearing a Clinton mask, an orange shirt with “Crooked Hillary” while in handcuffs. Smith’s shirt bears the numbers 11082916 in reference to the November 8 election day.

He said, “Everyone wants to see her in prison. I can’t walk 5 feet without somebody stopping and taking pictures’.

Another Trump supporter, Kara Elvidge said she believed that Clinton is a liar. Elvidge resides in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and a registered nurse. She stands against Clinton’s abortion policy. Elvidge said, “The abortion issue is a big issue for me with Hillary’s views on abortion. I also believe that we need to close the borders. That’s something important for me with Trump.”

Marie Maxime, a native Haitian and lifelong Democrat said she will vote for Trump. For the stay at home mother, “I think Trump can do the job. I think he’s a man of integrity and honor. And I think he can stand on his word.”

Trump Surprises Democrats with Michigan Halloween Visit

Republican Nominee Donald Trump spent Halloween in the pro-democrat state of Michigan, trying to woo voters for a win on Election Day.

His campaign team has him convinced that he can win Michigan, Trump said, “So I say, ‘Let’s go and win it.”

Late-Sunday night, Trump arrived in New Mexico, another state who had faded from red to blue. Public polls showing most voters would go for Hillary Clinton suggests that the election battleground would come down to North Carolina, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Florida.

Trump’s campaign manager Jason Miller said their internal polling shows Michigan and New Mexico are in “dead heat.”

In a recent election poll in Michigan and New Mexico, the Republican Nominee was down 5 to 7 points. On the other hand, the Democratic Nominee dominated the poll votes by 14 to 24 points.

If Trump’s internal poll numbers are true, it will be a shock for Hillary Clinton’s team who have not bought ads in either state or even sent its candidate to New Mexico during its general election.

The Republican Nominee who has been playing offense said if Clinton wins this election, it would trigger a “constitutional crisis”. He was pertaining to the discovery of hacked emails.

Trump predicted that the US would have a “criminal trial for a sitting president”. He added that Russian President Vladimir Putin and other world leaders would “sit back and laugh.”

“Now there are five FBI probes into the Clinton Foundation and their pay-for-play activities,” he added.

He also charged and lingered on the misfortune of Clinton’s closest aide Huma Abedin, through her estranged husband, Anthony Weiner.

“Do you think right now that Hillary Clinton is happy with the services of Huma?” he added, “I don’t think so. I don’t think she likes Huma.”

He continued by criticizing the increase in Obamacare rate.

Trump’s campaign team also released a 10-point “New Deal for Black America,” in response to his infamous call to execute the “Central Park Five”. The deal mostly consists of Trump’s policies to cater to the black electorate and pledged to “apply the law fairly, equally and without prejudice.”

Trump’s visit to Michigan on Monday went to a stroll down memory lane. He visited Deltaplex in Grand Rapids, venue of his famous triumphs during his campaign last year before the holidays.

Deltaplex in Grand Rapids is in a Halloween festive scene, decorated with cobwebs, pumpkins, spiders, and bales of hay. Most attendees were also in costume, coming in “Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln” attire. There were also the now popular Clinton in orange prison jumpsuit costume, and a bottle of ketchup costume holding a sign that said, “We need to ketchup with the rest. Put Trump in the White House.”

In the event was former Indiana University basketball coach Bobby Knight, who endorsed the Republican Nominee and encouraged his candidacy. Trump continued to reminisce about Knight’s endorsement that brought him his nomination victory in Indiana.

Knight described Trump as a “tough son of a bitch”. He said Donald with Trump’s administration, “there will be no bullshit”. He also added, “Black, white whatever our color is, we can be damn proud that we’re Americans.”

Knight also repeatedly referred to Trump as “Saint Donald.”

Trump continued his part as he promised to prevent local businesses from leaving Michigan. He also said he would assign Knight to watch over CEO’s who plan to outsource jobs and coerce them to keep them in the U.S.

FBI Acquires Warrant to Examine Huma Abedin Emails

The Federal Bureau of Investigation obtained a search warrant for the private laptop of Hillary Clinton’s aide Huma Abedin. According to the reports of NBC News and ABC News on Sunday, the agency will search Abedin’s emails in relation to their on-going investigation regarding Clinton’s emails.

On Sunday, an official source who has knowledge of the current probe said the FBI and Abedin’s representatives deliberated on getting an approval to search Abedin’s computer. Within Abedin’s computer, agents uncovered new emails which may have links to their previous investigation about Clinton’s email. The search will shed new light on allegations about how Clinton managed classified information when she was still the Secretary of State.

Huma Abedin’s woes started when her disgraced husband, the former New York Representative Anthony Weiner was charged with sexual misconduct involving a 15-year old teenager.

The computer used by Weiner was seized during the time of the investigation.

Federal authorities initiated the review of the said computer which was shared by Abedin and her husband because of the current sexual charges probe. Clinton’s controversial emails emerged when authorities started the investigation about Weiner’s sexual charges.

Massive number of Emails to be processed

The computer contains as much as 650,000 emails according to The Wall Street Journal on Sunday. However, authorities are uncertain of how many emails are related to their current “Clinton email server” investigation.

The FBI Director, James Comey said on Friday that the agency discovered new emails. This new batch may be associated with their inquiry of the private email Clinton used. In July, Comey confirmed that Clinton mistreated classified information on her private email. However, he would not suggest filing any criminal charges against the democratic candidate.

The Democratic supporters, infuriated by Comey’s statement on Friday, questioned the bureau on why they are examining more emails. For them, the bureau provided insufficient details which subsequently lead to a range of conspiracy theories against Clinton.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch pleaded Comey not to disclose the new findings on Clinton’s email. She said it will interfere with the election, which is a violation of the Justice Department’s policy.

Meanwhile, the Republican candidate, Donald Trump was pleased with Comey’s statement concerning  the latest email review. For Trump, America needs to know more of the candidate’s behavior prior to voting.

The FBI has not made any formal communication to either Clinton’s or Abedin’s camp.

Trump Rallies as Clinton’s Lead Now Just 2.5 Percent

On Saturday, the Washington Post/ABC News survey showed that Donald Trump was fast gaining on Hillary Clinton. He has cut her lead to 2.5%, in less than 2 weeks before the November 8 election. The Democratic candidate still leads at 47% backing of likely voters while the Republican flag bearer is at 45%.

Momentum Gained

The new national poll indicated a close two-point margin; a score which appropriately falls within the 3% point margin of error. The new poll has a huge contrast compared to ABC’s national poll from last weekend. The poll shows a remarkable lead of Clinton ranging from 38 to 50 percent.

It was a massive momentum gained by Trump in the past few months of the campaign election coming from a double-digit difference from his opponent.

In spite of the close call in the race, 59 percent of voters assume Clinton will win as the 45th President of the United States. Out of these voters, 90% firmly believed she will win the election.

With that forecast, 2% of Clinton’s likely voters say their expectation is giving them less reason to vote. Meanwhile, the other 2% of voters who believed Trump will win will probably vote for that same reason.

FBI Investigation may shape election

The survey performed earlier this week, before the Federal Bureau of Investigation released news about Clinton’s controversial private email. The FBI is closely examining the Democratic flag bearer’s email server.

Likewise, the investigation may affect the election outcome. Trump might get an advantage on Clinton’s leaked email woes. On one of the emails from Clinton’s aide, Huma Abedin and her husband, the troubled ex-representative of New York, Anthony Weiner of New York contains Trump statements about the probe. The Republican candidate said regarding on the FBI investigation, “This changes everything”.

The Washington Post/ABC News poll was done from October 25 to 27, in 1,779 adult correspondents, with 1,148 likely voters. The survey has a 2.5 point margin of error either way.

Newsline: FBI Director James Comey sent eight congressional committee chairmen a letter 11 days before the election.

“In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear pertinent to the investigation,” Director Comey write the congressmen. “I am writing to inform you that the investigative team briefed me on this yesterday, and I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation.”

Trump Tags Clinton as “Corrupt”; Michelle Obama Backs Her Up

As the 2016 US election comes to a close, Republican Nominee Donald Trump condemned both Hillary and Bill Clinton as corrupt politicians that would use the presidential position to enrich themselves at the expense of hard working Americans.

Mrs. Clinton with the help of the first lady Michelle Obama rallied voters in North Carolina, a state that could deliver a landslide win to the Democrat team.

As new controversies arise every day, Mr. Trump seized newly made-public emails between Bill Clinton and aide Doug Band. The emails were among the thousands of hacked emails from top Clinton aide’s private account.

At a rally in Springfield, Ohio, Mr. Trump said, “Mr. Band called the arrangement ‘unorthodox.’ The rest of us call it outright corrupt,” he added, “If the Clintons were willing to play this fast and loose with their enterprise when they weren’t in the White House, just imagine what they’ll do in the Oval Office.”

Mrs. Clinton did not comment nor mention anything about the hacked emails as she campaigned alongside Mrs. Obama. The first lady, one of Clinton’s most powerful allies branded Trump as too divisive and thin-skinned for the White House.

“We want someone who is a unifying force in this country, someone who sees our differences not as a threat but as a blessing,” the first lady said as she addressed 11,000 enthusiastic supporters.

Mrs. Obama also accused Trump of manipulating voter’s turnout on Nov. 8 by his statement that the general election might be rigged.

“Just for the record, in this country, the United States of America, the voters decide elections,” the first lady said. “They’ve always decided.”

A Recent poll shows Clinton with a huge lead for weeks. However, her campaign team is concerned that her advantage could prompt some of her supporters to stay home on November 8. They might also cast votes for a third-party candidate.

As the candidates enter the final stage of the election campaign, Clinton showed more cash advantage over Trump. Almost $153 million campaign funds have been raised to back Clinton’s presidential run, more than double on what Trump’s side had available.

Recently a GOP house member released a TV ad, saying Trump has “disqualified himself” to be president. Rep. Robert Dold of Illinois calls Trump as an “independent voice,” first time for the committee to discredit a Republican Presidential nominee.

“She speaks very badly of Putin, and I don’t think that’s smart,” he said.

Frustration grew as his own Republican party criticized him for failing to denounce Putin. He also refused to answer questions regarding the hacked emails’ source, although intelligence agencies have pinned the blame on Moscow.

Last Thursday, Trump said in a statement that Captain Humayun Khan, a Muslim-American soldier killed in Iraq, would be alive if he had been president during the war.

Khan’s family has been backing Clinton and has harshly condemned Trump’s call for temporarily banning Muslims entering the United States.

“I don’t understand how anyone would want to rub salt in the wounds of a grieving family,” the fist lady said.

The day ended with the plane of Mike Pence, Trump’s running mate, sliding off the slippery runway at New York’s La Guardia Airport. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

President Barrack Obama will soon end his term but his legacy will remain long after he’s gone.

This week, the administration announced a huge rate hike on affordable healthcare premium in the US, and this reflects a failure to the government’s responsibility in managing the cost and access to healthcare.

Obamacare is now littered with issues that need to be fixed, including rising premiums and deductibles, slow enrollment process, and an increasing number of people pulling out of ACA marketplace. All of these issues will be the next administration’s responsibility whether to fix or replace it.

Trump castigated Obamacare on his recent speech, He promised to ‘repeal and replace it’ than saying how he would deal with the crisis over access and cost. He does not have any health reform highlighted in his campaigns.

Meanwhile, Clinton shows a more concrete plan over the Republican candidate.

In her statement, she said “The President and I have talked about it,” Clinton told WHCQ Radio in Florida on Tuesday. “We’re going to get co-pays and premiums and deductibles down. Clinton’s plan is to increase competition among insurance companies to improve choices for Obamacare customers. This move will improve public’s option for better health care, regulate rising drug prices, and provide tax relief for out of pocket expenses. Her campaign team committed that Clinton’s administration would tackle diseases likeAlzheimer’s, autism, drug abuse, viruses such as Zika, and to improve urban and rural health infrastructure.

Political Agenda

Hillary Clinton, former first lady and New York senator has been in the political healthcare scene for years.

Obamacare’s problem is complex, and Clinton’s broad knowledge about the issue won’t solve it. Due to this, she would need the help and support of the congress, getting support from the Democratic seat sufficient enough to dominate GOP. This political fight to fix Obamacare will be tough.

Republican Congressmen who have voted 50 times to stop the law are not likely to cooperate to fix it. Even Democratic Senators who are up for re-election in 2018 may prolong the issue until the election.

On the other hand, Donald Trump is committed to repealing the individual mandate and modify the laws that prohibit the sale of health insurance. Furthermore, the laws should allow people to pay their insurance premiums from tax returns.

He will promote individual Health Savings Accounts that would allow patients’ access to imported drugs overseas. Hence, prices would go down.

Republican Rep. Chris Collins told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer last Tuesday that he thinks Trump would adopt the health care plan made by House Speaker Paul Ryan during a Republican conference.

He added, “It is my understanding that Mr. Trump has seen that plan and what he is talking about … is in fact a better way, a replacement plan.”

Obamacare hike

The White House released a statement on Monday that premiums for the benchmark plan will rise by 22% next year.

Trump thinks he can use this new issue to bring down Clinton who recently leads most polls. He told reporters last Tuesday at his golf resort in Florida, “It’s blowing up all over the country.” He is committed to replacing Obamacare with something less expensive.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee recently released a video of Katie McGinty. The Pennsylvania Democrat said Democrats should be “proud of” Obamacare.

“Is Shady Katie still proud of Obamacare?” the NRSC released asked.

Iowa Republican Party chairman Jeff Kaufmann also added, “cheers and hollers for the Obamacare disaster,” referring to Democrat Patty Judge.

Jay Carney is a former White House press secretary who spent hours defending Obamacare. He admitted that the law was not as popular as what the President expected. However, voters should give Clinton credit for trying to repair it.

Carney said on CNN’s New Day, “Is it something … that’s going to change the election? No, it’s not.”

“Remember, the opportunity Republicans had to use Obamacare against the Democrats and win the White House was in 2012. Mitt Romney, a far more credible candidate for president of the United States from the Republican Party, you know, beat us hard over the head with Obamacare.”

“And guess what,” Carney added.

“The American people re-elected President Obama.”

Trump: WWIII Possible with Clinton’s Policy on Syria

Republican candidate, Donald Trump delivered another controversial statement regarding the Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton. Trump pointed out that going with Clinton’s standpoint in Syria may possibly start World War Three.

Clinton’s foreign policy includes persuasive talks with the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to step down from the position and a “no-fly-zone”. The latter policy can definitely result to conflicts with the Russian jets, which in the last few weeks had been bombarding Syria with air strikes.

Catastrophic Strategy

Trump believed otherwise, he recommends that the US should concentrate on defeating the Islamic state in its entirety. He said, “You’re going to end up in World War Three over Syria if we listen to Hillary Clinton”.

The Republican candidate’s tone suggested a very catastrophic message in condemning Clinton’s strategic plan in controlling Syrian air space. Trump stated, “You’re not fighting Syria anymore. You’re fighting Syria, Russia, and Iran, all right?

Trump also deliberated the Democratic candidate’s relationship with Russia. He pointed out Clinton’s harsh criticism of the Russian President Vladimir Putin. He also said that if Clinton is made president on November 8, “how is she going to go back and negotiate with this man who she has made to be so evil”?

Adding to his disapproval of Clinton’s remarks over Russia, Trump said: “Russia is a nuclear country, but a country where the nukes work as opposed to other countries that talk.”

Furthermore, Trump also criticized his fellow Republicans who backed down from supporting his candidacy. He said in an interview with Reuters at Trump National Doral golf resort in Miami, Florida, “If we had party unity, we couldn’t lose this election to Hillary Clinton,”

“Playing to Americans’ fears”

The Democratic Party group shrugged off Trump’s criticism, rebutting that the presidential candidate received disapproval from both the Republican and Democratic national security experts to be the next head of the state.

Clinton’s camp defended their standard bearer by saying that Trump is “playing to Americans’ fears”.

Jesse Lehrich, Clinton’s spokesman sad, “Once again, he is parroting Putin’s talking points and playing to Americans’ fears, all while refusing to lay out any plans of his own for defeating ISIS or alleviating humanitarian suffering in Syria”.

No-Fly-Zone

Trump’s statement about Clinton’s proposal of the “no-fly-zone” over Syrian air space came from a conference held last month. The highest-ranking military officer in the Armed Forces believed that the suggested policy will definitely lead to war with Russia.

General Joseph Dunford, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Marine told the senate, “Right now, senator, for us to control all of the airspace in Syria it would require us to go to war, against Syria and Russia,”

He then assured the Senate Arms Services Committee, “That’s a pretty fundamental decision that certainly I’m not going to make.”

Clinton provided her approval for the policy during the debate in Nevada on October 20. She said, “A no-fly zone can save lives and hasten the end of the conflict”.

However, her leaked email circulated by Wikileaks stated the contrary. In a 2013 communication to Wall Street firm Goldman Sachs, Clinton’s was fully aware that the no-fly zone would “kill a lot of Syrians”.

Her policy over the Syrian airspace strongly contradicts the standpoint of President Barack Obama. It will also largely expand US involvement in the war-stricken country. The policy also indicates the need to take out Syrian air defenses which are strategically located in populated areas. The confrontation between the two countries will result in countless civilian lives lost.

Trump’s election dilemma

In the past few weeks, Trump had been bombarded with sexual harassment allegations. Also, he accused the media of despairingly reporting to rig the votes against him.

Nevertheless, Trump, determined as ever, said, “The people are very angry with the leadership of this party because this is an election that we will win 100% if we had support from the top. I think we’re going to win it anyway.”

With just two weeks before the On November 8 election, America will choose its 45th president. The Republican flag bearer is still behind Clinton in the recent polling surveys.

In an interview with AdWeek, Schwarzenegger told them “If I’d been born in America, I would’ve run.”

Schwarzenegger was born in Austria, and it could have been interesting to see who have won between him and Donald Trump.

Judging by his comments, he would have given more fight than any other Republican candidates.

Republican Nominee, Donald Trump continued his fight against women who accused him of sexual assault.

Jessica Drake, a 42-year-old adult film star has accused him of “grabbing her” and kissed her without permission 10 years ago.

At a campaign rally in Florida, he responded to Drake’s allegation, “One said, ‘He grabbed me in the arm.’ And she’s a porn star,” before adding: “Oh, I’m sure she’s never been grabbed before.”

As Mr. Trump responded to all the allegations, he vowed to sue all his accusers after the elections.

On the other hand, Hillary Clinton faces turmoil when her links to the FBI comes under scrutiny again.

On Monday, the wife of an FBI official, Jill McCabe received nearly $500,000 from Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe to help with her campaign.

Governor McAuliffe has been a long-time ally and fundraiser for Bill and Hillary Clinton. The FBI official later helped oversee the investigation into Hillary’s email use.

Scandals linked to the Democratic nominee have been unclear and confusing on how she was involved. Nevertheless, it’s news she could do without.

Donald Trump, who have been facing so numerous scandal and allegations have been struggling to woo millennials. In one USA Today Poll shows millennials would vote more for Clinton over Trump. This gives her a 48% lead over the Republican.

Las Vegas Newspaper Grants Donald Trump First Major Endorsement

Las Vegas Review-Journal endorsed the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Sunday. The endorsement will give the real estate mogul his much-needed boost in one of the electoral battleground.

The latest ABC News tracking poll showed that Trump is 12 points behind Clinton. The endorsement came as a perfect timing for Trump to gain more votes.

However, it raised the eyebrows of some political analysts.

Sheldon Adelson, a casino magnate, and billionaire bought the Review-Journal late last year. He is known as a supporter of Trump and a longtime Republican benefactor.

The editorial said that even though the Republican candidate, Trump is “flawed” they still prefer him over the Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton.

The endorsement stated, “Mr. Trump’s impulsiveness and overheated rhetoric alienate many voters. He has trouble dealing with critics and would be wise to discover the power of humility.”

Lesser Evil

In an excerpt from the editorial, “But neither candidate will ever be called to the dais to accept an award for moral probity and character.” The editorial continued based on what they thought of Clinton, “and we are already distressingly familiar with the Clinton way, which involves turning public service into an orgy of influence peddling and entitlement designed to line their own pockets — precisely what a disgruntled electorate now rises up to protest.”

Furthermore, the Las Vegas Review-Journal wrote that a Clinton led government “would indulge the worst instincts of the authoritarian left and continue to swell the bloated regulatory state while running the nation deeper into the red in pursuit of ‘free’ college and health care.”

Breaking Pages

Clinton also had newspaper endorsements herself. She was the first ever Democrat endorsed by The Arizona Republic, a break from their time-honored tradition. The Dallas Morning News also gave their first Democrat endorsement since 1940. Other newspapers gave Clinton their notable editorial endorsement like Cincinnati Enquirer, which the last Democrat it supported was Woodrow Wilson.

Meanwhile, until Sunday, Trump’s biggest newspaper endorsements were the Santa Barbara, California, News-Press and St. Joseph, Mo., News-Press.

The Review-Journal’s editorial page said, “Mr. Trump represents neither the danger his critics claim nor the magic elixir many of his supporters crave”. The statement was based on rumors that the paper dreaded the “fear-mongering” Trump.

It continued, “But he promises to be a source of disruption and discomfort to the privileged, back-scratching political elites for whom the nation’s strength and solvency have become subservient to power’s pursuit and preservation.”

WikiLeaks Show Clinton’s Lack of Concern on Climate Change

Wikileaks recently released emails about Hillary Clinton’s campaign team’s focus on climate change, even if they do not have a concrete plan to solve it.

The Hacked email account of John Podesta shows Clinton’s energy policy once she reached the White House. The phrase “climate change” comes up in more than 1,200 emails, more than Obamacade, or the ISIS extremist and the Levant combined. A certain person named “sanders” also had come up in over 1,444 emails.

Clinton’s energy proposal have not been clear than Bernie Sanders’ call to ban fracking, or Donald Trump’s plan to put coal miners back to their jobs. Hacked emails suggest that Clinton’s team to be more driven by policy, but contradict with its election promises more than realistic proposals.

The federal ethanol mandate has failed to deliver its commitment as natural gas releases more methane pollution. Recent poll shows more people support taxation of carbon, her advisers fret, while politicians focus more on creating policy on reducing carbon output.

Clinton’s team’s unrealistic position to quickly end oil drilling has been supported by green groups and Sanders supporters, not considering U.S. imports increased and improved because of the oil boom.

Several emails also show Clinton being choreographed by aides before she revealed her position to the Keystone XL oil pipeline last year.

A hacked email contains how Obama and Clinton want the left to push her.

In 2012, President Barack Obama accepted the call for his re-election. He also reminded liberals dissatisfied with his record at that point that it was their duty to lobby him. Calling for “shared responsibility”, they cheered Obama as he spent significant political capital on global warming, regulating power plants and ratifying the Paris climate deal.

In one email, Clinton privately told union members that anti-fossil fuel protesters should “get a life.”

Josh Schwerin, Clinton’s aide suggested in one communication to slam Martin O’Malley for urging an end to all fossil-fuel by 2050. Podesta responded to commit for a massive cut in greenhouse gasses, “close to a zero carbon energy sector.”

Lucky Waletzky, Clinton’s campaign donor said she has “a lot of confidence” that Clinton would put an end to the fracking problem. Clinton also often pledges to restrict and end fracking, however, given the breadth of industry and GOP support, it looks like it’s “not going to happen.”

Bill McKibben, a top leader of the climate protest movement added that hacked emails contain no surprise and urge the green activists to keep up the fight after Election Day. This week he also wrote in The Nation, “The honeymoon won’t last 10 minutes; on November 9 we’ll be organizing for science and human rights and against the timid incrementalism that marks her approach.”

Hacked emails also show Clinton’s careful approach to issues concerning the public, avoiding split public opinion, and avoiding issues that could end future deals.

Interesting, Clinton shows her strong stance about regulating ethanol, but on two emails shows that her campaign team are working harder to keep its options open.

White House climate adviser Dan Utech advised Clinton’s aides in April 2015 to talk about “making the [ethanol rule] more effective,” Podesta copied that careful phrase in the “the reform graph.”

Dan Schwerin, Clinton’s aide proposed to leave a “maximum flexibility down the road.” After a month, he forwarded a news report about “Clinton’s Mend-It-Don’t-End-It” ethanol strategy and added: “I’d say we successfully ‘threaded the needle’ yet again!”

On recent poll, it shows majority of voters want an immediate action on climate change. However Podesta told Clinton’s policy director Jake Sullivan that they “have done extensive polling on carbon tax,” he added, “it all sucks.”

Other emails also show Podesta planning to promote climate-hawkish policies.

Environmental lawyer Richard Ayres sends Podesta a summary of a legal battle to temporarily suspend federal coal leasing program in order to subject it to a new environmental review. Obama’s administration took 10 months to totally review the proceedings, while Clinton keeps her neutral stand that angered the coal industry whose workers she struggled to woo.

An email also shows Environmental Defense Fund President Fred Krupp thanked Podesta “for reaching out” on methane issues, which they used for style deal-making on energy policy.

Last year during government funding talks, Republican Representatives questioned their push to revoke the decades-old ban on crude oil exports.

Environmentalists said that this policy is more of a way-out for the industry. But Clinton shows she is neutral to allow it, if agreements could achieve “the right balance.” In some emails, she barely changes her stand even after Congress and the White House broke a deal that lifted the ban and included a 5-year extension and end green-energy tax credits.

In some of her speeches, Clinton shows support on geopolitical benefits of gas exports. Her comment on export-for-tax-credits deal shows that she intendse to cut more bargains on that issue if she wins the election.

In February 2014, at the University of Miami, Clinton said, “I’m not crazy about the consequences of natural gas with the release of methane but it is replacing coal.”

On the same year, she also said in a San Diego law firm “now, that is a tremendous opportunity, as long as we are smart about it,” she added, “and we have to start by being smart about making sure we extract oil and gas in ways that don’t destroy water tables, leak methane into the air, undermine the quality of life for people who live near the wells.”

As her campaign staff struggles to prevent a rebellion among building trade unions that supports Keystone, Clinton ignored activists’ fight to block Dakota Access Pipeline, whose fate has become a much bigger concern in the oil industry than Keystone.

Clinton’s outreach director, Nikki Budzinski told her colleagues in February to draft a pipeline policy that would avoid her falling to a trap especially on the project-by-project grassroots lobbying strategy that green groups have used against fossil fuel infrastructure.

“She has privately told the building trades that she does not oppose pipelines,” Budzinski wrote. “Can we outline instances where a pipeline would have her support?”

However, Clinton never released a blanket statement regarding the pipeline concern, but she pushed for repair and replacement of aging fossil-fuel infrastructure.

Hacked emails and her contradicting statements suggest that if she wins this election, that won’t be enough to pacify environmental activists, disappointed oil and gas industry or concerned labor unions.

The American Petroleum Institute expressed their disappointment after Podesta cites its “very negative reaction” to the May 2015 release of three years’ worth of proposed regulatory targets on ethanol.

Podesta also mentioned the group of “really problematic” oil and gas advisers, who carried largely establishment ties, in April 2015.

Trump Shows Gains Amidst Women’s Accusations and Election Rigging Comments

A survey released on Friday shows Donald Trump gained almost half the lead against his opponent Hillary Clinton. A string of controversies followed the Republican candidate over the past weeks. Despite the sexual harassment accusation of women in the past and his dubious allegations over the election process as rigged, Trump still gains American voters this week.

The Democratic candidate and the former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton lost her momentum in the recent poll survey. According to the Reuters/Ipsos poll, a survey made on October 14 to 20, Trump cut her lead by half. A momentum gained with a few weeks left before the November 8 election.

The survey shows a four point lead of Clinton who is at 44% and Trump now at 40%. A big difference compared to a survey made on October 7 to 13 which shows the real estate mogul’s score at only 37% while Clinton at 44%.

In the recent survey, Clinton also diminished her lead in a separate four-way poll against other party candidates. The Libertarian candidate, Gary Johnson scored 6% and the Green Party candidate, Jill Stein who scored the lowest at 2%. The Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton scored at 43% while the Republican candidate, Donald Trump at 39%.

The survey also revealed that 63% of Americans, including a third of Republicans, believed that Trump committed the sexual assault in the past. Although the Republican candidate denied the recent complaints, calling the allegations as “totally and absolutely false.”

Correspondingly, the recent analysis showed Trump’s lead reduced to what it was before the controversial video was released on October 7. The video highlighted Trump’s bragging about groping and kissing women. Since early 1980’s to 2007, several women surfaced accusing Trump of sexual harassment.

The poll included a series of questions that asked correspondents on how they perceived Trump’s conduct around women. The poll pointed out that 63% of American adults, including 34% of likely Republican voters agreed with the statement “I believe Donald Trump has committed sexual assault in the past”.

However, even if correspondents believed that Trump “committed sexual assault” they were still backing up Trump on his candidacy. For them, they still agree that, “whatever Trump did with women in the past is less important to them than what he may do as president”.

Looking for something different

A voter from North Dakota, Evelyn Brendemuhl aged 83 said, “I’m embarrassed that our country can’t come up with better candidates, to be honest with you. But he’ll appoint more conservative judges, and she’s (Clinton) pro-abortion, and I’m not for that.”

Meanwhile, other voters are rooting for a change of policy around the White House. A 59-year-old Republican from Colorado, Gary Taylor considered seeing “something different than the last eight years” in the White House”.

Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted the online survey in English in all 50 states, which has a credibility accuracy of 3% variation. It comprises of 1,640 likely voters who had given their voting history, registration status and intention to vote.

The survey concerning Trump’s sexual harassment allegations includes 1,915 American adults with 546 Republicans who are likely to vote. The survey also has a credibility interval of 3% for American adults surveyed and 5 points for Republican voters.

Clinton’s Leaked Email on $12 Million Dollar Morocco Donation

Hillary Clinton’s leaked emails keep piling up on her. Recently, Huma Abedin’s email was in the spotlight and amongst the 4,000 emails posted by WikiLeaks on Thursday. The controversial email made public involving a $12 million donation from a government that her State Department deemed to be corrupt.

The Clinton Foundation received the massive amount of $12 million as a donation from the Moroccan King Mohammed VI. The king only had one condition; Clinton must agree to be a major speaker at a convention in Morocco to be conducted in May 2015. The State Department under Clinton’s control accused the Moroccan government of “arbitrary arrests and corruption”.

The convention was scheduled just after a month when Clinton announced her bid for the presidency. According to the leaked email, when Clinton finally realized her predicament, she believed that the “mess” could cost her the presidential campaign.

In an email excerpt exposed by WikiLeaks from Clinton’s top adviser, Huma Abedin said, “No matter what happens, she will be in Morocco hosting CGI (Clinton Global Initiative) on May 5-7, 2015. Her presence was a condition for the Moroccans to proceed so there is no going back on this”. The statement taken from a November 2014 email sent to Clinton’s campaign manager, Robby Mook.

The Moroccan King made sure that Clinton would honor the deal. In another email, Abedin notified Mook that the $12 million would be forfeited if Clinton disregards the convention.

In a January 2015 email, Abedin wrote to Mook and another campaign manager John Podesta. She said, “Just to give you some context, the condition upon which the Moroccans agreed to host the meeting was her participation. If HRC was not part if it, meeting was a non-starter”.

The email also describes that “CGI also wasn’t pushing for a meeting in Morocco and it wasn’t their first choice. This was HRC’s idea, our office approached the Moroccans and they 100 percent believed they are doing this at her request. The King has personally committed approx. $12 million both for the [foundation’s] endowment and to support the meeting”.

Abedin shockingly admitted in the email that “It will break a lot of china to back out now when we had so many opportunities to do it in the past few months. She created this mess and she knows it.”

Appallingly, the deal came off as a quid-pro-quo agreement in the king’s donation for the Clinton Foundation and for the CGI Summit. Similarly, significant dignitaries were notified that Clinton would be a keynote speaker at the convention.

Unshaken by the king’s demand, Clinton sent her husband Bill and her daughter Chelsea Clinton to the convention while she continued to campaign in Nevada and California.

Even though Clinton did not honor the King’s demand the deal went on. However, it was uncertain how much went to the summit directly, and to the Clinton Foundation. According to the emails, the total sum was $12 million.

Lavish Accommodation

The May 2015 CGI summit attendees stayed in the luxurious five-star Selman-Marrakesh hotel which is well known for featuring Arabian horses and extravagant amenities. The media was barred from covering the convention.

The Quid-pro-Quo Deal

Surprisingly the convention was sponsored by a Moroccan government-owned mining company, OCP. The Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice filed a case of “serious human-rights violations against the company.

Other allegations regarding human rights violations besieged the company. Human rights advocates accused OCP’s mined minerals as “blood phosphates”. This is a term similar to “blood diamonds”, denoting the precious stones unearthed were used to finance war conflicts.

In April 2013, Washington emissary Mohamed Yeslem Beisat said, “OCP is the first beneficiary of the war and the first beneficiary of the occupation — it is the one that cashes in on the misery of thousands of refugees and hundreds of political detainees for the past 40 years.” The self-described, “government in exile”, Polisario Front told US News & World Report.

As for the deal struck, Beisat remarked, “They’re doing this because they know Hillary has some chances of being President of the United States. And they want her to support their brutal occupation of Western Sahara.”

Nonetheless, the US financed Export-Import Bank granted OCP a $92 million loan during Clinton’s tenure as the Secretary of State.

Pointing Fingers

The leaked emails were presumed to originate from Podesta, who believed some may have been falsified.

Nevertheless, US intelligence agencies pointed out that the Russian government was behind the hack. Indicating the Russian President Vladimir Putin was trying to rig the election in favor of Donald Trump’s victory.

Trump asserted during the Wednesday final presidential debate that “no one knows” who hacked the emails.

Clinton accused Trump of urging the Russians to hack her emails during her tenure as the Secretary of State.

Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump was not impressed on a Saturday Night Live (SNL)show, where Alec Baldwin spoofed him.

In a statement posted on his twitter, he says “Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me. Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alex Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!”

NBC’s highly popular comic institution ‘Saturday Night Live’ is one of the longest running TV show in America, known for making the most controversial and memorable spoofs. The show pokes fun at politicians like Richard Nixon tagged as an ‘unhinged bigot and Gerald Ford satirized as a nincompoop.

Additionally, Bill Clinton was caricatured as a good-hearted but self-indulgent fast-food junkie, George W. Bush ridiculed as a likable fool and Sarah Palin mocked as an ignorant lightweight.

They all suffered from an offensive parody by SNL but none of them opposed the show’s management.

Trump said there was a long list of people and institutions out to discredit his credibility. He mentioned the news media, corporate insiders and members of his own Republican Party. Furthermore, he included the Democratic Party especially Hillary Clinton, and some women who recently accused him of making unwanted sexual advances.

The SNL spoof that upset Trump featured Alec Baldwin {as Trump}. Baldwin during their mock presidential debate, said to Kate Mckinnon {as Clinton} , “I’m going to huff. I’m going to puff. And I’m going to blow this whole thing.”

‘I love kids so much, i marry them’

The parody also mocked Clinton but not nearly as harsh. When asked if he is a role model for children, Baldwin {as Trump} replied, “I’ve been helping kids my whole life. I love kids. I love them so much, I marry them.”

Baldwin {as Trump} is shown stealthily on the stage while Clinton is talking, as if to intimidate or distract her.

At one point, the Trump character is shown arguing that women who have accused former President Bill Clinton of alleged sexual improprieties “need to be respected. They need their voices heard.” The faux debate moderator interjects, “What about all the women accusing you of sexual assault?” Trump’s character replies, “They need to shut the hell up.”

New York Times: Two Women Accuse Trump of Touching Them Inappropriately

In a story posted Wednesday on the New York Times website, Two women accused Donald Trump of inappropriate touching. These accusations, which his spokesman called “fiction”, may further harm the Republican presidential nominee’s campaign. With less than a month to go until the election, the harm done could prove fatal to his presidential bid.

One of the accusers, Rachel Crooks, explained how Trump kissed her directly on the mouth outside the elevator in Trump Tower in Manhattan in 2005. She was a receptionist at a real estate firm located in the building.

The other woman, Jessica Leeds, spoke on camera to describe how Trump grabbed her breast and tried to put his hand up her skirt. This happened around 2005 in the first-class cabin on a flight to New York.

The Republican presidential nominee’s campaign denied there was any truth to the report.

Trump’s senior communications adviser Jason Miller said in a statement that the entire article is fiction. He added that “for the New York Times to release completely false and coordinated character assassination against Mr. Trump on a topic like this is dangerous.”

The report follows the release of a 2005 video on Friday that showed Trump boasting about trying to seduce a married woman. He also mentioned kissing women without permission, and groping them.

During the presidential debate on Sunday, Trump said that he had not actually done the things he had bragged about. He further apologized for his private “locker room” talk.

Trump “lied on the debate stage”

Jennifer Palmieri, a spokeswoman for Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, said that the story was disturbing. She added that the reports suggest that Trump lied on the debate stage and that the disgusting behavior he boasted about in the tape is more than just words.

The New York Times said in its report that Trump’s claim that he had not groped women urged one of the women speak out.

In an angry phone call, he denied the incidents and threatened to sue the newspaper, the New York Times reported.

A New York Times spokeswoman said that they stand by the story. This therefore falls into the realm of public service journalism.

Move Over Ghouls and Goblins, Trump and Clinton are Haunting Halloween this 2016

The usual ghouls and goblins and everything scary will once again adorn our houses this Halloween. However, there is another display that is catching the eyes of passerby’s and it seems it is much scarier than all the rest. The Halloween twist this year is the US Election theme that seems to be scarring the lights out of everyone. . . Politically that is.

A Halloween display is attracting attention and is stopping traffic in a West Harford, CT. The display shows a Styrofoam caricature of Donald Trump and a smiley Hillary Clinton sitting on the Democratic donkey mascot. The two are among the usual Halloween figures of zombies and skeletons that has littered the front yard.

Central Connecticut State University history professor Matt Warshauer created the Halloween attraction more as a political statement.”It’s a crazy presidential election where it seems politics are out of control,” said Warshauer. “I am making a statement about both parties, the Republican and the Democratic party, but my primary concern is Donald Trump as a president.”

Warshauer said that it took him months planning for the design before he started with the construction last Saturday.

Something to Think About

Among the display is a skeleton holding a placard that says. “We were all immigrants,” while another reads, “We are not criminals”. The display is pointing at Donald Trump’s proposal to curb illegal immigration.

“I hope people take it in the spirit of Halloween. That I am having a little fun and making a political statement,” Warshauer added. “I want people to look at history and I want people to look at our politics in a thoughtful way. I’m not asking people to think what I think but I am asking people to think. That’s my goal.”

Hillary Clinton gets LeBron James’ Endorsement.

The Cleveland Cavaliers prized player has given his endorsement to Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton on Sunday. LeBron James led the Cavs in their win at first NBA championship last season.

James in an op-ed article with Business Insider said. “We need a president who understands our community and will build on the legacy of President Obama.

James’ decision to endorse Clinton stems from his belief that she knows the difficulties of childhood poverty. He also believes that Clinton would rally for the cause of the children and would place educational opportunities on top of her agenda as well as “address the violence, of every kind, the African-American community is experiencing.”

James is a basketball icon looked up by the youth all across the nation. However, there is no clear indication on how his endorsement for Clinton would impact the Presidential race.

Surveys conducted in Ohio shows that Trump has a slight edge. Suffolk University poll made in September shows Trump leading with 42 percent against Clinton’s 39 percent standing.

James has been outspoken about recent police violence against African Americans. He wrote that Clinton would find ways to improve life for African Americans. On his op-ed article, he wrote. “Finally, we must address the violence, of every kind, the African-American community is experiencing in our streets and seeing on our TVs. However, I am not a politician, I don’t know everything it will take finally to end the violence. But I do know we need a president who brings us together and keeps us unified.”

James pointed out further that. “Policies and ideas that divide us more are not the solution. We must all stand together — no matter where we are from or the color of our skin. And Hillary is running on the message of hope and unity that we need.”

Endorsement from other Athletes

LeBron James joins a list of athletes who have staked their name for a candidate in the Presidential elections.

Trump got an endorsement from Pro golfer John Daly and former basketball coach Bob Knight. Sports Illustrated also said that former NBA player Dennis Rodman as well as retired wrestler Hulk Hogan are also endorsing Donald Trump.
