Kanye West Leaves Meadows Festival Concert to Rush to Kim Kardashian who was held at Gunpoint in Paris

Five unidentified men, two disguised as police robbed Kim Kardashian in their luxury residence near Madeleine Church in Paris France. Robbers took more than $10 million worth of jewelries around 3 am on Monday.

Kim attended the Givenchy show in the Paris Fashion Week with her mother, Kris Jenner. The two dined together in an affair arranged by Tunisian-born couturier Azzedine Alaia hours before the robbery, according to RTL France. Kim even posted a snap chat post to her future sister-in-law Blac Chyna, an hour before the robbery.

The gunmen entered the private residence, handcuffed the concierge and at gunpoint prodded him to lead them into Kardashian’s room. This is according to off the record statements of police authorities.

The suspects stormed into Kardashian’s room and tied her in the bathroom before taking her valuables, mostly jewelries. The men took Kim’s jewelry box containing jewelries no less than $6.7 million and a ring worth $4.4 million. The suspects escaped using bikes as run away vehicles. They are still on the loose, authorities said.

Fortunately Kim and Kanye’s children, North and Saint were not at the same room during the heist. According to a Daily News source no people were reportedly hurt. Nevertheless, Kim’s was left dazed by the incident. A source said, “She is badly shaken but physically unharmed.”

Paris police had not released any official statements. Paris Mayor, Anne Hidalgo slammed the heist and said to the Kardashians they are “always welcome in Paris.” The Mayor also said such incidence is “rare” in a private residence in Paris. In a statement she said, “I have every confidence in the police force.” She further added that the criminals identities and subsequent arrest are forthcoming.

Kanye cuts short concert

Meanwhile, Kanye West unceremoniously stopped a sold out concert in Queens during the Meadows festival. West said, “I’m sorry. Family emergency. I have to stop the show”.

The audience said an assistant suddenly pulled aside the “Famous” artist while he performed “Heartless”, a 2008 hit song. He stopped the music, dropped the microphone and ran off stage.

Fans bought concert tickets with price ranging from $120 to $260 and were understandably disappointed to leave the concert early.

Twitter Joe Berg said, “Dude just ran on stage and grabbed Kanye and he said, ‘Sorry guys, family emergency I have to leave the show’ and just ran off the stage”.

Meadows Festival officials released a statement that reads, “Kanye West was forced to end his performance towards the end of his set. We appreciate the great show he put for fans to close out the inaugural Meadows Festival. Our thoughts are with West and his family.”
